Holiday Farmers Market, Sunday, Nov. 12th!

The holidays are just around the corner! Get all of your meal and gift shopping done at the Neighborhood Roots Holiday Market on Sunday, November 12th. Many of your favorite vendors from the Fulton, Kingfield and Nokomis Farmers Markets will be in the greenhouse of Bachman’s Garden Center (6010 Lyndale Ave. S) from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm ringing in the holiday season!

Everything you need for amazing festive meals can be found at the market. Purchase pasture raised lamb, beef, chicken or pork from one of several hard working farmers and impress your guests with the amazing taste of local meat! Start the meal with fresh and aged farmstead cheeses.  Make side dishes from local, cold-hearty produce like onions, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, winter squash, beets, apples, garlic, and carrots. Purchase bread and pies from local bakers and pop them in the freezer until your holiday feast.

The November Market is a great place to get ahead on your holiday gift shopping. Hand made candles, knitted items, tea towels, soaps and more all make for personal, practical gifts for friends and family.

Bring your knives to the November Holiday Market! Minnesota Knife Sharpening will be there to give them a new edge before a busy cooking season.

The November 12th Farmers Market is a holiday festivity in and of itself, so gear up for good cheer! Enjoy live music from Brian Peterson from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and Blood Brother from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Beer from Able Seedhouse + Brewing and wine will be available for sale by the glass. Enjoy breakfast or lunch from several great bakers and food makers.
