Vegetable Cha (Stir Fry) Krueng
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Krueng Dry Seasoning (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 cup onion, sliced bell peppers (any color), sliced carrots, sliced celery (or any seasonal vegetables from the farmers' market)
- Fresh herbs (such as cilantro & green onion) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Krueng Seasoning Mixture:
- In a small bowl, mix the Krueng Dry Seasoning with the stir-fry sauce and sugar to form a paste. You can add a little water if necessary to achieve a paste-like consistency.
2. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat with garlic.
- Add the Krueng seasoning mixture to the pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the harder vegetables like onions, bell peppers, and carrots first. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the sliced celery and minced garlic. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes or until all vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Serve:
- Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Enjoy the stir-fry with steamed jasmine rice.
