Melon
Melons are very versatile when it comes to grilling and their sweetness is very much enhanced by putting them on the grill. Once cooked, they pair wonderfully with cheeses, vinegar and herbs. For a basic method, slice your watermelon into squares or triangles about the size of your hand. A cantaloupe or honeydew should be in crescents or half crescents. Each slice should be about a half of an inch thick and discard the rinds. Brush it lightly with olive oil and sprinkle it with a small amount of kosher salt. Place on the grates of a medium high grill for 2-3 minutes, until grill marks appear.
