Neighborhood Roots supports Stevens Square, a South Minneapolis mini-market, by providing technical support and EBT acceptance capabilities. The Stevens Square mini market is located at the corner of Nicollet and Franklin and takes place on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 6:30 pm between July and mid-October.
Mini markets in Minneapolis consist of five or fewer vendors and promote access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables throughout the City. Each mini market is independently run, with support for EBT acceptance provided by a regional network market contact.
